Well, that's not very nice of you. We'd prefer you ask, “Why THIS podcast?”
And the answer is simple. For all the rapid change rearranging the landscape of entertainment and the arts, one thing is still true:
Los Angeles is the center of the creative universe.
Why? The people. You can find highly skilled creatives all over the world. But nowhere else can you find tens upon tens of thousands of them, the best in the biz, all in one city. You can look them in the eye, you can have lunch or a drink with with them, and you can share that creative energy that everyone knows only happens in the air between actual physical human beings.
In other words… because collaboration is so often at the heart of creativity. And creativity is the soul of Los Angeles.
